Apple may include an always-on display feature in upcoming iPhones.

At Apple's WWDC presentation next week, it's possible that significant modifications to the iOS lock screen could be announced. Bloomberg's Mark Grumman disclosed in the newest issue of his Power On newsletter that Apple has been working on a new always-on display capability for the iOS lock screen that could be exclusive to new iPhones releasing this Fall.

"Apple is contemplating big lock screen enhancements, including wallpapers with widget-like functionality," Gurman stated. "Furthermore, I'm told that iOS 16 includes future support for an always-on lock screen, which Apple had planned for the iPhone 13 last year." This would allow the iPhone to display instantly glanceable information while lowering the frame rate on the lock screen, similar to how newer Apple Watches do."

According to Gurman, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models may be the only ones with the new always-on lock screen. A smaller notch hiding a new front-facing camera, a 48MP back camera, a speedier A16 CPU, and capabilities for sending emergency texts over satellite networks are all possible additions to the top-of-the-line iPhone models.

Gurman also made some predictions regarding the rest of Apple's software platforms: iPadOS 16 is expected to redesign multitasking (which is still a weakness on Apple's tablets), and watchOS could include new low-power mode and modifications to watch faces. Some Apple apps on macOS may be redesigned, with System Preferences perhaps adopting cues from the iOS Settings app.

You will be able to amend previously sent messages on WhatsApp.

The ability to alter messages after they were sent was one of the most sought features of the world's most popular instant messaging service.   Previously, WhatsApp permitted users to erase messages, which sparked considerable controversy about the app's utility. Editing, on the other hand, made it easy to simply update the message, particularly if it was lengthy and only a single item needed to be changed.  Telegram, another messaging service, was first to include this capability in its discussions, ahead of WhatsApp.  WhatsApp, on the other hand, had been hesitant until now, and has already stated that the ability to modify messages will be added in a future release. And what's the methodology of message editing? By pressing down on the message, WhatsApp will allow you to do so. The edit option will show in the menu that appears.  Users can update the text and resend it by clicking the 'edit' button.  You can only erase a message in WhatsApp if it hasn't been ...

According to Dr. Aime Alongo, chairman of the Sankuru health division in Congo, the country has 465 confirmed instances of the sickness, making it one of the worst-affected in West and Central Africa, where the condition is widespread.   According to Dr. Alongo, the disease's persistence in Congo is linked to the ingestion of deceased monkeys and rats.  " The inhabitants go into the jungle and pick up the bodies of monkeys, bats, and rodents, which are the monkeypox reservoirs ," the official continued, advising anyone who have monkeypox symptoms to seek treatment at a health centre. Meanwhile, Nigeria's diseases control agency reported Sunday that a patient with underlying medical issues died of monkeypox for the first time this year.  The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention said that 21 of 66 suspected cases of the disease, which is common in Nigeria and other parts of West and Central Africa, were confirmed in 2022.  The Nigeria CDC stated, "...
